I have been thinking. There has been a marked increase of drug related violence on the U.S./Mexico border towns relating to the drug cartels and the local Mexican authorities. Things have started getting out of control. If you look threw some of our news articles here you will see that there has been many deaths on the mexican side and large caches of weapons being found on the U.S. side, specifically Texas. I'm wondering if this 'wall' they are discussing has more to do with controlling drugs then immigrants. Could be both but I find it hard to believe that the American government isnt getting nervous about what is happening only a short distance from the border. When you get more than one police chief killed in one small town in less than a year there is a big problem, especially when it is related to the drug trade.
