My appologies for posting in area's other than here. I never thought to look in the "other california prisons" for Lancaster. I didn't even know there were so many prisons in this world. mygod help us all.

Do you think people like myself who are not very prison wise are just missing this forum like I was? I hope not :(

ps! edit here: And yet again, I post in the wrong area or maybe not? this could apply to anybody reading it who is lost. Look in the Other California Prisons catagory for a state prison not listed. :)

Good afternoon everyone! I'm very new here too, I posted in the wrong place and I got helped out by Ms.Dragon, she had given me a good information i appreciate that but I have to be in CA STA PRI in Lancaster where my boyfriend is incarcerated. He was transferred from LA County to CA STA PRI a week ago and until now i have not heard from him. I am not so familiar with the system and had nobody to talk to, i found this forum and i love it. I wonder how soon will i hear from him. He is at the reception, is there a telephone where he can call me collect and let me know if he is doing well. I got hold of the ID Dept and was able to give me his location but not sure if this is B yard, or this is what yard or is this permanent? Someone there, please help me.

hi all - i have a few questions -
1. My boyfriend is in Auburn in county Jail. From the information I have recieved this means Placer County Jail. Is that correct? I don't see many postings under either name and have posted a few questions about the place in general out there - and only recieved one reply. Is this place way small? Am I the only one with a honey in there? (heh) I was hoping there would be info about lock down as well - but there isn't. I am in AZ and constantly searching for info - I feel so far away and helpless.
2. This one is more about out of state transfers (Interstate Compact issues) - while my man has yet to be sentenced we are hoping that when they DO sentence him we can begin the work on transfering his probation to AZ (not his jail time just his probation) He goes up before the judge (AGAIN) tomorrow and while I am oh-so-hopeful they will give him "time served" I'm also worried that we won't have his transfer stuff done - and he'll want to come running home to me(which of course i want him to) but not with out permission.

Any thoughts? Any one know the area?
