If that's the case, then he won't be able to call until he is out of reception. Myhusband was in reception for 5 months and I never got calls, but I did get visits (behind glass). If he is mainlined there at Delano, then maybe he is just waiting to get classified and then he can call.... gomez4ever 03-30-2006, 05:23 PM Hi Gomez, Is he in reception at Delano? Usually they are in reception anywhere from 30 days to 4 months... can be more depending on the situation. U can't get calls, but if u are approved for visiting, then u can visit for an hour behind the glass! When he gets mainlined... he will probably be transferred to another prison, and at that time u can get phone calls and regular contact visits. If u got anymore questions, just ask! he's in again 04-01-2006, 01:57 PM If an inmate is Mainline at NKSP can he make calls? My man wrote and said he was transferred to Gym-A which is on the Mainline, and he's working in the kitchen-does that mean he's staying there? Also- does anyone know what the letter designation mean in the inmate number, e.g. F, P etc? Thanks csusarrah 04-02-2006, 10:13 PM If he is mainlined, then yes he can make calls. Most of the time they don't mainline at the same prison that they go through reception in. Unless, it is a smaller amount of time... ex. a few months or weeks. And the letter on the inamte number doesn't mean anything, its just a part of the number.. as far as I know |
