My husband was moved yesterday from kilby to either elmore or j.o. davis. I have not heard from him since Tuesday. If anyone knows how long it will take for me to hear from him or recieve any info about where he went please write me back. Thanks

Usually after they are moved it takes a few days for them to set there phone list up at the facility they are transferred to. You will probably hear from him by this weekend. Another thing you can do is get on the DOC website and do an inmate search but wait to friday to do it (it updates every friday) and that should tell you where your husband is.

Thank you for the advice,I found out he is at Elmore. I hope that it wont take too long before I can hear from him.

Elmore is a more laid back place. I liked it when my husband was there.
