Hi, I live in the U.K and therefore I have no clue how far a dollar can be stretched. is $30 for a friend every now and then enough:confused: ? how much do our friends need to get by? please advice me and thanks for answering all my strange questions:o :o :o , I just want to do right by my friend:)

I send my brother $20 a week. Some places have a maximum they are allowed. When he was in county jail that was all they were allowed to have so I've done the same at Parchman. I don't know if they have a limit or not though.

I send my friend about $40 a month (when I can) and he says he does nicely on that ..that is enough to get his needs and a few extras . I am sure your friend will appreciate whatever you are able to send . He sent me the price list from the "store" and things looked reasonably priced where he is at so I am thinking it is probably pretty close to that in other units as well . Hope this helps some :)

the amount i send my sweetie varies, but £30 gets you around $40 for example i sent £45 to someone a couple of weeks ago and that got him $74 and i got it from the american expess, i amin u k also, hope it helps.
