We went to visit my son for the first time Sat.And he turned his parole plan in this week.His jacket goes up May 24.I am hoping he gets out soon afterwards.

I talked with the constituent lady on Tuesday.She was very helpful and answered alot of questionsShe also said something about there maybe another EPA between now and June.And if there is my son would be eligble for that.He seems to be weathering it all well.He cant wait to get out.He has a 5 year old nephew that misses him badly and asked all the time when is Uncle coming home.

Parole plan is something that says to the board where they will live work and what they are going to do to make sure they stay out.

Thanks.I saw that after I talked with the constituent lady.My son said thet when he turned in his parole plan that they told him he would know if it was approved by May 30 and if it was he would be out around the first part of June.I hope so.I would like for our lives to return to normal as soon as possible.

What if a person doesn't have a job when they get out? But have a family and skills to get one, just not one that is a for sure? Will they still OK the plan?

As far as I know, they do not have to have a job lined up before they are released. Is that your question pods?

They are still telling my son he should be out sometime in June as long as his parole plan is approved.His relesase date is still listed as 8/18/06.I know my son is not doing much time but anytime as young as he is will be with him for thr rest of his life and his adult life just started.What kind of chance does he have of ever getting a GOOD job.Thats how I feel about alot of these young men that are put behind bars before they even turn 20.He does have a skill he is a horse shoer,that has gone to hell in a hand basket.He was just getting started good.He has pick up a new skill since he has been in TATOO ARTIST.Is what is so strange we live in a very small town and no one knows where his at,its not been a secret.People have just now started to miss him around here.His been locked up since Aug 15, 05.I work at the gossip center of this town the people I work with know he is locked up.I have just been amazed.Its only been in the last couple of weeks that I have been asked where he is at.I just hope what they are telling himis correct and he gets out in June and I hope it early enough in June that he gets to watch his nephew play at least 1 t-ball game.

It will be hard, but Karen you guys can do this.Don't let others get you down.Hold your heads up and and take a second chance at a great life.There are people who will give him a chance at a job,it might take a little time to find them, but they are out there.Best of luck to you guys.Kitty

I dont real down about it.I am still bitter over our system.I sat in court more than once and heard the Judge ask the prosecutor what do think I should do with this one or what do you want.The judge hasnt been on the bench long I would say that 90% of the people that go before him are poor.And 90% walk out on probation or they walk over to the Very over crowded jail.We have a brand new jail sitting empty.They cant open it due to MOLD.They wore my son down.They kept him in county 6 months and he would still be , but he finally took the plea bargin.Our system is so screwed up.There are some they lock up and throw away the key and then others with the same charge walk with in a few months and are back in with in a few weeks.

Back to parole plans...when do they go for approval? Before hearing, after hearing, or before board meeting or after board meeting? Does any one know?

from what i understand the plans go in after the board meets at the prison but im not sure you mite want to call the IPO at his unit and see

WHOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO I just found out his jacket went yesterday and next tues. the 15 they will vote on his release and within 3 weeks from now he should be home PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PRAY FOR US!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats great news! My son should be home in 20 more days.I will be so glad when all this is over.
