My fiance is at easterling and from what i can tell its pretty good. not that i have got to visit him yet but i hope to do very soon. any information you can give me about anything would be helpful---angel:thumbsup:

Hi and welcome to the Alabama forum! My guy was at Easterling until last summer so the information we have on visitation procedures there is pretty up to date and can be found in this thread here in the forum:

Visitation there is really pretty okay, other than the fact that (unlike most of the other ADOC facilities) there is no smoking and you can't go outside at all. I would recommend getting there pretty early because the way they do things it does take a while to get in, longer if it's busy, plus the machines start running out of food after a while. But all in all as far as visitation goes it's pretty decent.

My Husband Is At Easterling And Visition Is Very Nice ,but You Do Have To Be There Early ,cause Some Times That Have To Pull Out More Tables\chairs.

i havent actually got a day yet because he is still trying to get me added to his list. background story on me and my fiance is this. we went to school together and we both had crushes on each other and didnt tell each other and years later he was married to my best friend at the time and i was married also. abd back in dec. my best friend(his ex wife) told me he put a ad in there and we have been writing every since and we are getting married when he gets out whether that be in jan of 2007 or 2009. but i havent actually made plans yet to go and see him i would love to be able too cause i havent seen him in over 10 years so that reunion would be special.--angel

i just got a letter from my fiance and i am going to get to go with his mom in july to see him and i am soo excited. we havent seen each other in almost 12 years and so i am excited but kinda scared too any advice??? would be appreciated.---angel:)

yeah thats what i keep thinking about was we were friends first but now its alot different bc we hide our feelings for a long time and its just nice now to be able to have those feelings out in the open. plus hes family will be with me so i hope it all turns out good. just keep us in your prayers--angel

yeah i am almost postive his family knows because the last time i wrote him i asked him what did his family know about me and even though i havent gotten a letter yet telling me i know that he had to have told them something bc i have talked with his mom and his brother both. so i am really excited about getting to see him and i cant wait. i am counting the days down.--angel:D

the thing is i cant accept collect calls so its really hard for me not be able to talk to him and i would love to be able to do that and i hope that soon i can at least hear his voice that would be make the next 8 months so much easier cause he goes up for parole again in january and i hope and pray that he gets it but i am also counting the days till i get to see him i have dreams abot it and i also get a good feeling counting the days till i get to finally see him even though i have a picture he sent it will be soo much better when i can actually see hime after all this time.--angel:)

the good news is that i am actually going to get to talk to him this coming saturday he asked his mom if i could come over there and when he calls could i talk to him and of course she said yes so thats my exciting news for this week and also when i do get to go and visit him in july which will be july 1st. that will be his bday isnt that a good bday present for him to get to see me after all this time.--angel:thumbsup::):D
