my husband was just transfered from waso r/c to n. kern co.main line today does any one have any info? like visiting proceedures, when he is able to call? any information would be helpfull. thank you

I am so sorry I don't. How long was he there? My fiance is in Wasco and has been since June, saw his counselor and everything...still waiting. I know there is something on the CDC thread about it. Good luck...PM me if you can't locate it, I will go searching.

Call 1-661-721-2345, ask for Sgt. Martin in Visiting. I found him to be THE most helpful guy along with his staff, regarding visiting and do's and don'ts.

Thank you for the info. My husband was put back into reception d yard.after he left wasco reception, he was lost in the shuffle. and no one knew why he was there. it took 4 days on the phone, to get him where he was suppose to be. I finally recieved my first phone call on Sat. I had not spoke to him on the phone for 4 months. I just want to say thank you all for all your support. He is in level 1. if any one has any info. on motels/ or hotels near the prison, I would greatly appricated. Thanks again....

There's a bunch of hotels/motels in the area...Check Delano listings. I stayed at a Best Western there (Delano) which was probably too expensive I think, but not far from the prison.
