does anyone recieve collect calls from the ADC on a virtual #? If so when the inmate got the # on their list what did you use for an address? thanks,

Voice Over IP. When your phone line runs through an internet connection, basically. Not that great of quality, but it's a good deal.
Not sure how it works for inmate calls though. :(

VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) services like Vonage, skype, etc. will not work with the ADC/MCI/Verizon/Global Tel Link (or WHOEVER gets the contract) inmate phone service. A 'landline' (ATT/SBC, etc.) is required.

The technology exists to allow collect phone calls to VOIP lines. However, the requisite desire to save inmates' families money on phone calls does not seem to exist within ADC.
