I am new to this web site and just wanted to see what it is all about. I have been with my " baby daddy" for 4 years and he just became my husband. Not the dream wedding but hey whatever. He is in Gurney unit and just tryin to find something to help pass the time by. My youngest daughter just suffered a major permanent injury and i am lonly and depressed. Anyone have any info on how to get my husband on medical leave or early parole or something.If you wanna talk let me know. Also i would like to say that in Tennessee Colony they are racist and they give my husband a really hard time for being with a " white girl" and so they pick on him.

My Husband is black and gets talked about for being with a "white"girl. sometimes it is harder than others because i'm the absolute first "white" girl that he has been with. although there are lots of IR couples at the prison he is in we still get stared at. I think that no matter where you are people are gonna stare. it sucks and it's stressful but just think of all his wonderful qualities and you'll be ok.

Hi tabre, just wanted to say my heart goes out to you because for many of us, our children are our heart. I couldn't imagine being in your shoes right now considering all that has happened with your daughter. You really do need your husband by your side to help hold you up during this time. Because prison is about money and to let your husband go early kinda like shortens the state's money, I'm not too sure on how they'd feel about letting him out early. Maybe you can start with communicating with his counselor, then the superintendent, then someone at the Department of State in the state your husband is pullin his time? I am so sorry that it has taken me so long to get on here and tell you all thank you for your support. There has been alot going on and so now I am back. Thank you all for your words of encouragement and wisdom. They did not approve my husbands special review however they did send him 2 a " pre parole facility" whatever that means. I hope it means that he will be home soon and very soon. As for my daughter we found out last week that she is perminantly blind but hey we all know who has the final say in that. So keep her in your prayers
