Well, as of Saturday [3-18-06] I survived the statistics, they say that a drug offender has an 80% chance of reoffending within one year of release! I have one year and two days out and still as determined to stay out!!!! Six more months of supervised parole and I will just about feel that I can make it the whole way!

I to beat them I have been out for 3 years and clean as a whistle working for the city in which i live doing great you can do it also, been there dont want to go back and like the real life instead of the one i had theres nothing like it

Well, you sure do give me hope. My friend is hoping to get into a really intense rehab program if he ends up in a KY prison. He's in his 40's and all I can do is support him and pray like crazy that it sticks this time. As we all know, it's so hard to stay clean especially after you get out of prison, but to see that some can do it, it's very reassuring. Keep it up and I'll plan on sending you another Whoo Hoo in a year!

Thank You!! If your friend does Ky time, have him try to get to Two Rivers in Covington. It is a halfway house/ treatment center. It can be quite difficult being there but if he works the program it does help. There is an especially awesome AA sponsor who brings in a program on Saturday night, his name is Don G. and I still consider him my sponsor and keep in touch with him, such a wonderful man!! Best of luck to your friend and to all!!

YES!! It feels awesome!! 26 months ago I would not have thought it possible! It has sure not been easy, I have had to isolate myself a lot but whatever it takes, it is worth it!! Never again will I be just a number!! Thanks for reaching out to me!!
