I am grateful for grace, experience, faith and abiding joy.
I am grateful for the gift of fathers.
And the truth that time is no match for love.

Soledad update:
It went great.
He is amazing.
Love between fathers and daughters is amazing.

Thanks to each of you who offered advice and good wishes.

I am so glad to hear that all went well. I was thinking about you all day Saturday. I told my husband about you and we were looking from C yard to see if we saw you. He was talking like I wounder what she is thinking and feeling. He was excited because he also has family that he never gets to see. I am so glad that you are going to bring your kids up there to see him too. When you are up there, if you see my little Scion, Say Hi!!!

Thank you General's Wife! If any of you want to read about it, I am writing about it at hersoledad. As we can't leave links you'll have to pull the webpage down from my profile. I think it will be wonderful thing to share with all fathers who have lost daughter and vice versa.

Thank you all again for sending up all of the good vibes. I caught them!
