I was just reading a post and read it is better here? To me its terrible we use to be at PVSP a level 3 but level 4 yard. We had patio and structure, better yet regular size tables. I cant ever get comfortable I cant stand it, I feel like since I'm not comfortable I cant give my hubby a good visit. It is so QUIET in there we have to whisper it is weird. Let me jus say that a visitor said so you said your from XYZ city I said no I didnt say! She over hood my conversation. As far as id's we always keeped them in our possesion. The CO told me when he was behind glass, when I aksed about the patio not being open, that at least it was better than where he use to be? (as if she new where he was at, she assumed he came from PBSP) I said uh no! It was cool we had patio and it was organized, one CO told me how do you think I feel I have to work at this place ( he use to be in SATF) I said yeah and what about my husband he has to live here...

KVSP is worse. When we asked about the patio they said that it was just an emergency exit in case of a fire. What type of sh** is that. I liked where we were at (Calipat). I know what you mean about it being so quite. I couldn't believe it. Hopefully things will change sooner rather than later

for us, KVSP is alot better in many ways. when he was at SVSP he was lockdown for over a year and a half; hell they are still lockdwon over there. . . he literally had not been in the fresh air for over a yer and a half.

the mail was better where he was; and visits were better; we wer able to walk around and be louder than it is here; we also had alot more contact than we do here. .. . but part of this i think is cuz its so new. processing here is slower than dirt and it was better where he was; we had to line up at 5 am to get a numbered pass, but usually i was int he room by 9-930 am. and he was down fast. this place it takes forever.

but overall for us, where he is now is better. he gets to use the phone which he wasnt able to do before; he gets yard and the best part for him is that he got a job and gets to work everyday. so hes not just locked up in the house 24/7 for months or a year on end.

INALICE: I guess that for you gusy it is better, be/c your on an a"active yard", the active year at PVSP also was on lockdown forever, and as soon as they were off one weekend I would here they were back on, but it was only the southern and northern hispanics, crips, and bulldogs so the guys who were not considered any of these would have visits.

Were SNY so no one does much of any fighting, and so were never on lockdown, have phone time, work and all the other stuff. But his prison is way out, if we dont know anything as visitors they dont know anything as inmates. I mean I'm hearing that 602's arent being answered, that the counselors have no idea what their doing and the inmates are frustrated of appealing and not getting heard in a timely manner. They are not going by the rules at this place. I just hope that the Feds or SAC come in soon and sraighten this place up. I like uniformity all across the board...

yeah that ws the problem for us, since he isnt on a SNY, we had all the politics bullcrap to deal with. . . so far over here it isnt too bad but what im worried about it . . . give it time. right now i like how it is. he says its really mellow where he is, even for a level 4 he says its mellow and he likes it. . . what worries me tho is everyone just got there; and the incidents that have happend, they dont keep them lockdown more than a day or two which i like since it means i get to stil have alot of contact with my man, but at the same time, i worry that more and more is going to happen and it will turn into like everywhere else where they lock everyone down because there is too much drama. im hoping not. . . .

i know mine tells me how frusterating it is that the cops dont seem to know anything cuz there are so many new ones and even with the old ones, they arent running this place like all others; supposedly it is supposed to be the model for rehabilitation; for not locking them down all the time; letting them have program and work and show that they can act right and if they get program and everything, they wont have so much political bs. at least thats how i understand it. but the cops seem frusterated with the difference int he rules as well as the inmates cuz no one knows what they are doing right now.
