My son called today. Another inmate is due to be released but has no where to go. He was to be released to his son, but they haven't been able to locate him... so... They asked if I could find a list of half-way houses in Tucson. I ran a google search but came up empty handed.

Does anyone know if there is a list of Half-way houses, if so where I can find it?

Thank you

Vaneta

I dont know if any of them are in Tucson, but perhaps if you call some of these places, they can refer you to a Tucson branch. Good luck!

Thank you ~Aimee. I also found out they are now called transitional housing, which makes sense and aided in the search!

You can also find transitional housing on the behavioral health website - they are listed there as well-

Also on samhsa - www.samhsa.gov (http://www.samhsa.gov) - look under treatment facilities - and search for the category you need - under parolees/transitional housing etc. - and you can look up the nearest ones to your local city - state -
