Hi T.K707Flatlands, Once he has sent you a Visiting Questionnaire, you've filled it out, and you've been cleared- the hours are 8:00 am- 2:00 pm, I believe. Clearance usually takes at least a month, so long as you're very thorough in the Questionnaire, if not it can take anywhere up to three months. In Reception, you're right- he cannot make any calls, but once he hits mainline he'll be able to... Mail questions are tough... it can take anywhere from four days to four weeks... and so on. But, I guarantee he will get his mail: "eventually." Just keep writing in high hopes that it'll get to him speedily. Hope this help. Take care.
