Please, please i need any information i can get.

I know it's been a while since i've been on this site but i really need any info i can get.... Some time ago my friend did a parole packet now he says a little after summer he'll need parole cloths but he say he doesn't come home until after summer next year. Does that make any sine to any of you? Can he really get his cloths after this summer and have them sit until after next summer  Also, he is at a fire camp and i thought they get credit for each day they work is there any truth to that/

Hi Can't help it!

Dress outs as they are called are usually mailed to the prison about 30 days prior to his parole. I've never heard of them getting them 6-8 even 12 months in advance.

If he is in fire camp they get 2 days credit for every day served only if his original sentence allowed him to recieve 50% time. other than that they have to serve either 80% (second striker) or 85%.

Thank you for the infor.
now in other words he really should be coming home soon (a few months) after he ask for his dress out, right? So 06 is just to throw me off, you think?

Everyone is right! 30 days to the gate. Make sure to mark on the outside of package "Dress outs." Also, put inside the package and his name and cdc number and again, dress outs. If you don't put dress outs, it may go to the mail room. You want R & R to get it. Yah, never heard of 1 year to send in dress outs. You just might be getting a surprise.
If you know when he went in and what his sentence is and what the percentage is, you can kinda figure it out. Just like Richard "RPinSD" said. Depending on their time. 1/2 timers get 35 % when sent to camp. 1/2 time starts at reception if you have a job. It is a bit to figure, but you should be able to tell w/ in a year of release. good luck.

This was taken from the DOM:

54030.13 Release Clothing
Inmates scheduled for parole or awaiting discharge may be sent a release-clothing package via USPS or common carrier no earlier than 30 days prior to their scheduled parole or discharge date. Inmate release clothing packages, limited to one set of clothing, shall be retained in a secure location by departmental staff.
