I don't post much ,mostly because the rest of you say things so eloquently that it's not needed..lol...But I do want to thank all of you very much (Especially EldonsWife ...I love ya Girl!!) I came here a couple of months ago looking for information because I had started a frindship with a DR inmate . I found encouragement and support (and a lifelong friend ) . I have been writing to my friend for almost 3 months and never did I expect to get so much out of any experience as I have this one . I know all of you understand, but it is so hard to put into words what these guys bring to our lives .Here I thought I was the one giving support and it turns out that I am the one being supported !! He has become such a dear friend and I just wanted to thank PTO for giving me the incentive to go ahead and do this !! Because of reading your posts and listening to your advice I have been able to bring a lot of good things into both of our lives !! So I thank you all very much !!!

Isn't it amazing how we start out thinking we are helping someone and they end up helping us. You will here that over and over again here. I know I have learn so much through the years from my pen friends.
Some of them have helped me through the darkest times in my life.

That is really great to hear!! I too thought that I would be helping my penpals by sending them a letter and putting a smile on their face. Turns out everytime I get a letter, I am the one with the huge grin on my face and am doing a mail dance in front of the post office!!!
