Ok folks thought I would add this sticky here to assist in any Road Construction, closures and so forth when traveling to and from the prison. The dates will change weekly to help out. When posting please include and alternate route if you know one.

FYI: The toll-free number for Cal Trans is 1-800-427-7623. Before leaving home call this number. It gives the road conditions for anywhere in the state of California. It changes when road conditions change. Keep it on your cell phone. It helped when we were traveling to PVSP March 12th when it snowed! We were surprised when the rain turned into snow half way there. We got on the cell phone and called as soon as the roads got slushy. It is a voice activated system once you're connected.
The other number to call before leaving is the 800# to verify the yard is not on lockdown (in any weather). -C
