To attach a file to a new post, click the post reply button, scroll down to attach files and browse until you find the picture you want to attach from your computers hard drive. Click on it and it will attach to your message.

To add a signature you have to upload to your webspace. Here is a good free place for pictures in case you don't have space. Then you would go to edit your profile and the option for adding a sig is there. If you need more help, send me a pm.

Great work everyone.. Your sigs look really good.

Now, I hate to pour anything other than graffiti on a parade but I am going to have to ask everyone to keep their signature to a MAXIMUM of 300 pixels tall. You are welcome to lengthen them if you would like as long as it does not mess up the format of the pages. (Create a slider at the bottom whenever you have posted)

If you do not know what 300 pixels in height looks like, refer to the second post in this thread by Chevy that has "Travis N Beck" on it. That is 300 x 300 pixels in size.

The picture attached right above this post also is 300 pixels tall.

To determine the dimensions of a picture that is attached or online, right click your mouse over the picture and select "Properties". It will list the size and weight of a photograph.

Also, and this isn't going to be very popular, but everyone is going to have to choose between a signature, text and counters.. Stacking them on top of each other makes the viewablility of pages much more difficult. So, the TOTAL height is going to be 300 pixels.

I really do like sigs and am working on a couple of my own, but we are going to have to make sure they don't clutter up the forums and make the threads harder to read.

Most professional Sig designers create their signatures no taller than 100 pixels. They look sharp but do not take up too much space and bother people who are not interested.

Of course, everyone is welcome to switch them back n forth as much as they like. You may even be able to get some type of rotation script where you host your sig. (I don't know if this is possible but it is an idea??)
