The National Institute on Drug Abuse invites you to attend the first annual Vigil for Lost Promise (http://www.drugabuse.gov/newsroom/vigil.html). Initiated by eight families who lost children to drugs, and cosponsored by NIDA, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America, Drug Free Kids: America's Challenge, National Families in Action, and Partnership for a Drug Free America, the evening will be a remembrance of those who have died from drugs.
The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. on June 8, 2006 in the courtyard at DEA Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. Registration prior to May 1 is required. Tickets will be mailed to all who register.
