Hey All,

My son is being transferred to Old Folsom Minimum Security (outside the wall). Does anyone have any info? We know nothing about it. He is currently at Old Folsom but behind the wall so we are excited and hope MS will be better....

Any info would be great.

Just be careful. Some people tend to get too comfortable when they're in the camp, and I hate to be a wet blanket but from what I understand it's REALLY easy to get in trouble there (whether or not you did anything wrong) I've seen alot of people get sent to the camp, just to end up back behind the wall again. Remember it's still prison, more or less still the same people and theres always going to be snakes. Sorry I know I'm being a pessimist, it's just that people can tend to get to comfortable out there, so do tell your son to be careful.

But from what I understand, you'll have a lovely time visiting. Theres a nice lawn, and the staff is supposed to be a bit more laid back. He'll enjoy more freedoms also.

Thanks for the heads up.. Never thought about getting in trouble there and being sent back behind the wall. I will be sure to talk with my son when I see him this weekend.
