This is my first time using this web site but I need some information. My future Husband is in Tehachapi (CCI). He is yard 4 and we do not get contact visits. He is in SHU. I am not sure if we will be able to hold hands when we get married or if we will be entiled to a family visit. Do they allow an extented visit on our wedding day?:confused:

Well I got married in October 2005 and my hubby is on Level 4 also , not in the SHU, but I am gonna give you the marriage counselors name and number..Lisa Mclaughlin and her # is 661-822-4402 ext 6501... and if that is not the ext, then just call that ext and ask for her by name tell her that his counselor suggest you call her and get info. she is very cool, but hesitant to give info.. I know that if they are behind glass I believe she told my sister that you can still get married but it will be behind the glass I think. And yeah it is quick, you really dont get that xtra UMPH!!!! and they ONLY marry level 4 in May and Oct.. so I was wondering how did you get the June date, is that for SHU only??? Hmmm, that is why I got married in Oct.. and I was gonna wait thinking I could go and do it at anytime and that is when Lisa let me know the exact dates that the ceramonies took place.. you can email me @ and I PMd you with the info..

I am not sure BVN would be the person to ask for that one! You know the Chief Info Officer! J/K anyways I have a friend that got married at Centinela and she said she had to mail the ring to him they add it to his property and then he gets it! Call R&R and ask them they will have specific instructions for you I think. Oh I am so excited for you Faith let us know when the actual date is so we can do a congratlations thread for you and your hubby!

Well I am BACK on the scene.. I see it is hectic without your girl BVN.. and like I said I got married last year(( dayum seems like yesterday)) and Yes, when you get married you can exchange bands, but when he goes back to his cell. then they take it from him and process it thru Property.. and then he gets it back... I mean My hubby wears his like WHOA!! I dont wear mine alot, that is why I had his name tattooed on my wedding finger.. Hey that is a POST/Thread I am gonna start... TATTS!!!!

that is crazy.. because i was told the same thing.. at cci only may and oct... so i dont know.. the counselors are sorda grumpy there.. but call if you can and speak to the marriage coordinator even though you still have to go through his counselor anyways... smile..
