Well saturday will be my first time ever seeing, my boyfriend face to face we have been writing and talking on the phone, for 14 months, and now I'm finally going to meet him, I am very nervous, can anyone give me some good advice?????

Well me and my man were already together before he locked up, but I was just as nervous as u!!!! But I am sure it will be fine, and thats really exciting! Try not to get too nervous!!! GOOD LUCK! AND I HOPE U HAVE A GREAT VISIT!!!!!*

It'll be great for you both, I'm sure. It's normal to be nervous but as soon as you look into his eyes, it'll all be good. Just relax, prison is intimidating but my experience has been that as long as you're not trying to get away with anything, it's merely unpleasant and not as horrifying as you'd think (at lease for the visitor).

I was just like you when i went on that first visit. It really isnt as bad as we imagine, when we dont know the unknown.
The best piece of advice has already been expressed... TRY AND RELAX!! I know that that is easier said than done, but just try and focus your mind like you were going going to visit one of your girlfriends or something! ;)

Oh you will enjoy yourself, especially if you have been talking to him for 14 months. Just act normal, and act like you already knew him.

I know how you feel I too was really nervous the first time mt husband and I met. As you can see he is my husband now so the first visit must have went well. Just be yourself and file away every moment in your mind. Things will go great!

Wow that is awesome, I remember my first visit, it wasn't too long ago, I actually had my first visit with my bf in July of 05. It was awesome, but before he came out as I was waiting, I was so nervous that I thought that I was going to get sick to my stomach! Sorry if TMI =)

I was just being myself and we had a fantastic visit together, like everyone else said, just relax and enjoy it, the only bad part is when the visit ends =( Good luck on your first visit and have fun!!

Just get a picture in your mind: he is a man you are meeting at the mcdonald's and you and him are sitting together talking no big deal. Just keep thinking that. Just remember all the while you are talking and chatting he is thinking about going to bed with you. At times he going to have to look down because his thoughts will be getting to him. I have been there. He will treat you so nice that you will get over the butterflys and feel special.Bye
