I have been expecting a phone call from him but i dont know if they have acess to the phones right now????? He said he was going to call and i know there isnt a block because i called MCI already and they said there wasnt. He's not a worker yet so i know he has barely any privileges. Does anyone have love ones on D-yard? if so are you getting phone calls right now??? Please Help...Thanks

Hi, My friend is also on D-yard and he called 3 times on Thursday morning but I wasn't able to get the phone call because I was at work. So I stayed for most of the weekend to get the call from him but he never called, So I am thinking that they might be on lockdown, if I find anything out I will be sure to let you know!

I heard that it is sometimes hard to get a phone call if you didn't get to sign up on a list. If they are working they can't get to the list before it fills then they just have to wait. Good luck and hope you hear from him soon.

Hey Monique I did end up going and let me tell you it was horrible... :( dam they closed the 8 and we had to go all the way back to riverside.. it tooks about 8 hours to get to centinela so they can tell us c yard went on LD the night before:blah: :angry: :angry: it was snowing pretty hard.. if you guys plan to go take the 10 just to be safer. I almost crash 2 and it was very scary:eek: next time Im going to check the weather up there before I go. It was raining on the 10 too. Good luck if you guys go up there.:thumbsup:

My son called last Thursday night. Of course I hope he calls again tonight. If he does I will let everyone know. Just because he calls one week I hope he calls the next. When he gets to use the phone he does. He does have a job in the kitchen and says at least it gets him out and helps the day go by a little faster. He was suppose to be home this month but trouble got him more time. Just can't wait to hug him since it has been more than a year since we have seen him. He doesn't want us to come and visit and has not sent us a visitor form. I love his letters but after months of being on lockdown it is great to get a phone call and hear him laugh. It makes me smile to know that he has not forgot how to laugh and when he gives me that true little laughter it is great. I hope all of you get a phone call from your loved one.
I called again today and talked to some R&R because they have had some books since November that my son still has not received. I call them every week and just get the same old thing. Well lockdown it seems is over so I wonder what excuse they will use next. They say they have the books, and I have checked with overstock.com for the exact delievery date. Today they said that the quarterly packages have priority to be given out. I understand that but told her that it has been since November. She said she will try to see what she can do, that is what she said the past two weeks. ANY IDEAS?

that is so sad. It seems like they were just getting out of lockdown. My son usually calls on Thursday's but no call tonight. I will worry until we all find out what is going on. Maybe I will get a call tomorrow. Keep us informed please.

They are not on lockdown....my babe has been writting to me and told me that they are not in lockdown...only that the c-o's are checking each cell something like that...they have visits so they are not in lockdown....

Yes D-yard is on lockdown. Yes they had visits this weekend but that doesnt mean there not on lockdown. Im not sure if they still are today. I havent got a call yet from my husband but when I do I will let everyone know.

No call for me in two weeks either. Hoping this weeks letter will say something. We went so long with no phone call but when we started to get them I look foward to it. He would call once a week. Will post if I get a call or anything new in the letter.

my son was able to call today. Also got a letter. The letter said they are doing a cell search and until it is done they are on some kind of lockdown. His letter said he hadn't even been going to work. He has been working in the kitchen. Today he said that because of winds lots of the TV stations are out and won't be fixed until he thought they said April 20. They are only handing out perishable quarterly packages. i was wondering if someone can help us. We have ordered books and they have been at this facility since early January. I called the R&R in the mailroom, I think her name was Bonnie. I just can't seem to get the books to him but they for sure have them. He was transferred from Calipatria in the first few days of January. The books sat there from November 3 and transferred with him to Centinela. Who should I call, Bonnie just has told me for over a month...the lockdown has made it difficult. But please from January is a long time. He is suppose to be released soon and then what happens. The books can't be returned to the vendor to long of time passed. PLEASE HELP US

What's up? Let me just say all of us ladies are pretty good with helping eachother out. So whenever you have a question just ask...As for D-yard they are off lockdown. My husband called me yesterday. Its a little difficult with the phones there with them. They have to sign up for the phone they can't just walk up to it and make a phone call. If he dont have a job he gets one phone a month. I hope you hear from him soon.....
