questions about tahachapi...i need info on sending dress outs

Hi Jenniferlynn,

When you send dress outs you must send them NO LESS than one month from the inmates release date. If you send them earlier than one month from the inmates release, they will not accept the package. (So if he gets out on lets say June 1st, mail the package on May 1st.) Here is a link to the Tehachapi Guide (http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=183794). You can find the inmate addresses in there. I'm not sure if you send the dress outs to the inmate P.O. box or to the one for general business. I suggest calling the prison directly (the mailroom) and ask them which address to send the clothes. Also, make sure you write "DRESS OUTS" all over the package.
