Does anyone know what an inmate is allowed to bring with themselves to Chukawalla when they are being transfer. Can they bring there TV, radio, fan, hygeine stuff. Will I have to fill out another visting form. Once transfered how long does it take to get a family visit. Someone please help me.

When my loved one transfered from Corcoran 1 to Corcoran 2 he had to pack all his personal property and it transfered with him. If I remember correctly it took him about two weeks to get it back as he had to go thru orientation. If you are already approved as a visitor for one facility that approval should follow him. However, there has been times when another form needed to be filled out. As far as family visits. You will need to contact the family visiting cordinator.

When my husband transferred to Chuckies about a month ago, his TV and Typewriter were sent home. It didnt take long for him to receive his property (personal hygiene products, food, etc.) Hope this helps.

I think it depends on the level and if they are in a cell or not, My brother had a tv and a few other items but he couldn't transfer them to there from Mule creek as he went from a cell to a gym. as for them being returned to home NOT they transfered his money first them said they had no money on his account to send his stuff home so once again F us and our stuff the DOC made out .
