Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to share my news...My boyfriend is in prison, and my parents didn't know about it, I was really really scared of telling them, I don't know why, I guess it's because I thought that they were going to get mad at me or something, anyway, I just told my Mom yesterday! She didn't get mad at all!! :D She said that as long as he treated me right and as long as I was happy, she is cool with it. :o

I can't believe it, I feel so much better now, as if someone would have lifted a weight from my shoulders. I don't know why I posted this, I guess I just wanted to share this with my PTO family!

Thank you for your kind words, yes I am so very happy, and I'm even happier that my Mom agrees with me and that she doesn't have a problem with him. Once again, thanks!

Congradulations girl. You know we're so afraid of disappointing our parents but you know our parents always have our backs no matter what. I'm really glad everything worked out for the best.

Parents will surprise you that way...I told my mom from the gate that I would be standing by my Whateverheis for the duration of this nightmare and I expected her to be upset about it but she just praised my sense of loyalty...go figure.
I'm very glad this went so well for you.

Hi,

Thanks for the input, I know what you mean about parents "surprising" us at times. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I thought that my dad would be upset but that my mom would just freak out. Well surprisingly enough, my mom was even excited that I was pregnant, that was a real shocker for me. My dad had the normal reaction that I expected he was just quiet.

I am really happy for you. I wish my parents were as supportive, but they aren't. I'm not mad about it, but sometimes it's nice to have your parent's support. Thats really great. A lot of people don't have that, you really are lucky!!! Treasure them!

Hi,

You're very right, I am lucky to have been blessed with these parents, I guess that I just didn't realize this when I was younger. But now that I'm older and much wiser, I have learned to appreciate them and every little thing that they do for me, so thank you very much for your kind wishes.
