Do I have the correct mailing address? I have P.O. Box 1020 Soledad,CA....I can't remember the zip but I have it written down. I seen another P.O. Box but this is the one I have sent my letters to, is that correct? And how exactly are you suppose to write it out on the envelope?

I heard that all yards are now havimg mail sent to the 1 PO Box. I don't know when it started but my bro on B yard now has the same PO Box as my husband on C yard. I address the envelope as follows

Hey you think this is why there having such a delay on the Certfied mail??? Cause my husband is behind a wholes week and I pay 3buck a day for this service.

I thought about that, but no matter how many PO Boxes they had the mail coming in is still the same amount and the people still have to process it. They just say that they are short staffed and that is why and it could very well be that but for this long is crazy. I know not all of the inmates there get mail, so them telling us that it is so extensive is hard for me to believe.

Hello Everyone I Spoke With Someone In The Mail Room At Svsp On The 27th Of February To Find Out More Info On Sending A Money Order By Certified Mail. I Was Told That If I Wanted To Send Certified I Could But Just To Let Me Know That It Will Not Apply Same Day. She Said Too Much Mail Is Coming Certified And Money Orders Are Getting Signed For But Will Get Processed Just As Slow As All The Other Mail. :( Also The Po Box 1020 Is For The Employees, I Sent Some Mail With This # Too And She Said If His Cdc # Is On The Envelope It Will Find Its Way To Him, So What Else Is New.

I hate hearing that, because it just goes to show that they have no real intentions of making this a priority. And really how much mail could possibly be coming in priority and certified?

I know that much mail can't be coming in to where they take over a month to be delivered or sent out, I have never gone through any of this with any mailroom before it is just crazy!!!

I am so happy I finally got a letter today in the mail and I got the visiting form yesterday, so that is in the mail and waiting to go out tomorrow..Lets hope and pray I get approved...I cant wait, I want to see him SO SO SO SO Bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I heard that they're gunna try to stop acccepting the cert. mail cuz there's too much of it and they are short handed. Also heard that New Delano doesn't accept it which is a FEDERAL offense, but CDC is trying to pass some rule to disallow it. But whats new!
