I was contacted by an ex boyfriend in June of last year through classmates.com. It has been nearly 20 years since I had heard from him. We emailed for a couple of months and I went to see him at his parents beach house in Corolla, NC for almost a week. He was very different from the party guy who could never stop getting high. He looked the same, but now had the fire of Christ in his heart and he was so passionate about it at times he would get almost enraged explaining his experiences and encounters with the holy spirit. He quoted scripture like the back of his hand, but said he wasn't working for now, so we had the whole week together. It was odd. It seemed like he just wanted to hang out, but something seemed odd. He was very, very sweet and swept me off my feet and kept constantly talking about when we were young, like we were stuck in a time clock. He said the Lord had taken his music from him and he was just now getting it back. It was just odd. He treated me nicely, during my visit, but in recent months has been kinda indirectly making slighting comments "like I live in the world" and "I am too busy to relax". In the past couple of months this 'reformed Christian' man would yell at me over the phone. Very odd and say things that were scaring me like "I am unstable" and "I am trying to trick him into liking him and he knows what I am doing" Anyway, it is like a rollercoaster mannerism; can't read him, but I can say that his Christian ways are on the back slide. He yelled at me and told me going to Chuch is not necessary and to not discuss my personal life with my friends because he is the only friend I need. It seem like an isolation tatic of some sort. I live in Nashville and he is in NC. He lives in his parents beach house and pays nothing, so something has happened and he gets mad if I ask him if he is looking for a job by the coast. Whew, its weird.

I want to know if someone can tell me if Charles E. Gray was incarcerated and did some time for drugs or something. He was born in March of 1965 and is around 5'10" and 155lbs w/ dark blue eyes and shoulder length hair. He is from Virginia Beach. Can someone assist me? I need to know if I am crazy. He told me he was living the the high desert in CA working as a maintenance man and I dared not to press for more information. I just want to know if there is any information on him or if he just went through a rehab program or something like that. It just seems odd how he is not looking for work. I hope I can help somehow. His parents look like they have set him up pretty comfortably and he helps maintain their beach home in Corolla, NC

I don't know of any way to find out his past criminal history in California short of paying for a criminal records check and then I don't even know how much info you could get.There is an inmate locator phone number but it is for present inmates only.

You need to contact the Clerk of Courts in the county he was living in at the time you feel he may have been arrested. It is public information and it is free to obtain it. You can start there. However, after reading your initial post, you may just want to leave it alone. He doesn't appear to be very stable. If you feel it necessary to go behind his back to find this information....maybe you should reconsider what you are doing. If it feels weird, then something isn't right.

I agree with the last post.... If too many things seemed to be unanswered leave it ALONE and move on......
