I entered this image in a Photoshop contest were you had to take a piece of art (painting, sculpture, etc.) and combine it with a modern image to create a new image where the art does not look out of place...Enjoy!

View Full Version : Another Photoshop trick--combining images trnd_around 03-06-2006, 09:01 PM I entered this image in a Photoshop contest were you had to take a piece of art (painting, sculpture, etc.) and combine it with a modern image to create a new image where the art does not look out of place...Enjoy! NC_Peaches 03-07-2006, 05:27 AM That is very kewl...I'm a photoshop user myself for av's and sig's on other sites...have you used imageready that is bundled with it? trnd_around 03-07-2006, 12:52 PM I used ImageReady for animated gif's but then went to Macromedia (now Adobe) Flash which is easier to do animation with. Sadie80 03-29-2006, 06:39 PM Awesome. I can't wait to get myself a photoshop program. lovely541 03-29-2006, 06:58 PM Thats amazing, and nicely done. mlynnm 05-04-2006, 07:12 PM Wow great job! Ronnie'sHoney 05-05-2006, 07:18 AM How did you do that? I have been trying to combine images for days. I wanted a photo of me and of my man to look like it was taken together but I can't .. Your brilliant cuz that's hard. trnd_around 05-05-2006, 08:00 AM Well Ronnie'sHoney..you have to be pretty comfortable with a photo editing program. Plus there's a lot of other things to consider such as the source pictures; i.e. you want the light source to be coming from the same direction, free of blemishes (for the most part), etc. I have been doing it for quite some time...like putting my children in movies and such...if you send me a PM I can list the sites with tutorials and my site (which is in my profile) where you can see more of my work :) joesangel 05-13-2006, 01:33 PM Wow! That is amazing. Did you win the contest? I have Paint Shop Pro, and have combined one or two photos, but have a long way to go. I'd like to take some college courses too, but not sure where to start. Please continue to post more of your photos. Thanks for sharing. trnd_around 05-16-2006, 03:12 PM Usually classes that teach this are in the graphic design major...Some even call the class Using Photoshop...Check with the college admissions and I am sure they can point you in the right direction. Also, there are many good tutorials on the internet! I myself wanted to write some...just don't have the time!! ;) TheGeneralsWife 06-07-2006, 12:00 PM Greta photo. It is kind of natural looking too, like he was just there having a drink. Did you win? ryanNmiami 06-16-2006, 12:07 AM http://www.lunadude.com/tutorials/ps_composite.htm here guys, this is a step by step tutorial that can be done in most versions of photoshop with i would say beginner skill and can be fully understood by intermediate users... hope this helps some of you get started? TheGeneralsWife 06-27-2006, 01:56 PM Thanks for the tutorials, I need stuff like that. Crone 07-01-2006, 09:37 AM I have no idea how to do this. I don't have the software to do this. But I would love a picture of my husband and I together. I'm wondering if someone would be willing to take my picture and my husband's picture and somehow create one picture of us together. My husband would love it and boy oh boy would he be surprised! |
