My husband is on D yard.

He refers to it as the softest yard in California. It is an SNY yard with all levels of offenders. There are still bad things that happen in there, but most of "the game" is not played in there. The COs there are all very nice in visiting, and he tells me, they are very nice to him as well.

scott is in C yard and will be moved to the dorms any day now. anyone have any info on what kind of yard that is?

Mine is on D yard as well, hey Somerdawn, I bet that we have run into eachother without even knowing huh? :p

My bf has the same thoughts as your husband, it is a very laid back yard, and they are hardly ever on lockdown, especially when it comes to visits. I can also say, that the guards on D yard are very relaxed and friendly.

I have never been to any other yard in PVSP, but from what I hear, D yard is one of the best to visit. Luckily I have never had any problems there and I don't look forward to having any in the future! :)
