hey guys, i finally heard from him but it wasnt really what i was hoping for:( it's been a long drawn out week bc i knew i should b hearing from him and finally got his letter today. but all it said is that they moved him from the gym, back to a cell and then they'll move him back to the dorms. but he says he's in C-1 or something like that. is that the yard he's in? then he says that in the cell they only let him out for 10 minutes!!!! how fucking depressing is that!!! i'm sorry guys i'm just really missing him right now i could just cry. if he stays in c yard what kind of yard is that??? he was only put in for parole violationg which was originally a DUI charge that got him time. how long do they have to stay in the dorms? do they get out of the dorm alot? man i hope so.

what about quartely packages...
is there a limit on the amount of stamps u can send in a quartely package bc i know there is in a regular letter.

then he says he almost went to the whole bc a new guy came in and was put in for beating a baby and scott almost flipped out on him. i hope he keeps himself in check, i can't stand anymore extra time tacked on.:(
sorry guys it was a time to vent day. i miss him

I Believe "B" & "C" are the mainline yards. At the prison, they put all the 'Short Timers" ( 3 years or less in the Gyms). I would think the reason the why they're only letting him out for 10 minutes, is because he mite still be on orientation status.

As for the stamps, you can send a book along with a letter.

Take care and don't stress out!! The first few weeks getting settled in at a new prison are never easy. But it does get better!!!

Hey girl,

I'm sorry to hear that your bf didn't write to you with much good news. Hopefully everything will clear up soon and he goes back to the dorms, or even better, he goes home to you! =)

It used to be that you could send a book of stamps (20) per envelope, but now you can send up to 2 books (40) per envelope. I'm not sure about the quarterly packages, sorry.

I hope you from him again very soon with better news! =)
