I'm looking for penpals (women) for some inmate friends of my husbands. I don't have any money to spend on this endever, but they have asked my husband if I have anyone willing to become a pen pal. So far, all of the places I've visited need a lot of info I don't have, or a fee. Does anyone know of a source for real pen pals?:)

You can also post ads at confined hope. There are a few others that are free as well. No one can say for sure that they will get a pen pal out of the ads. That is a risk you run with that. It is better to at least try to get them one some how. They have nothing to lose with free listings.

www.livingintruth.org has free listings of Arkansas prisoners wanting/needing pen pals. We could sure love to find some "writers" for these prisoners.

Was just thinking. Since this is a forum for exoffenders; who better to be a prisoner pen pal? You know how important a stable, constant source of mail can be. It would be a great, cheap way to help all those still behind bars.

Thanks so much for the website for lostvault.com I never knew that they had a penpal site for prisoners and have posted one for my son who just took a deal from DA and is looking at a little less than 4 years.

worldwidefriends.org have a section on their site thats reserved for non natives and a section for those in the free world. For the most part this a site for incarcerated native american pen pals, but its free to all people.
