Can someone please explain to me what a FI2 parole means. My friend received one in April. His release is dated 11/1/03. Last week he was sent his notification via mail.
Can an FI2 be released before date stated upon review and granted parole? I have heard that the mailed notification contains the month he will actually be released. Does anyone know the schedule of events that transpire on such a parole?

lel~ I had posted this awhile back.. He should have a FI-2 and then a month. Is is a FI-2 November?

yes, they said his date to come home is scheduled for the 1st of november.

Okay then just as Travis has an FI-2 August 1st... what that means is they have up to 90 days I believe from that date to release him... So your friends release should be any time up to 90 days after the 1st of Nov.
Up to 90 days from November 1? WOW ! And there is no chance he can get out before right? I read the post you submitted the link to. It was a huge help.

Yes they can get out before but.... all paper work must be done and his parole plan approved. Once his parole plan is approved it is usually a matter of just a week or two before he is released. The Parole office told me they usually will recieve their parole plan a month before the FI-2 month is here~
We are already July 3rd and I am still waiting for Travis's plan to get to the Local Parole Office here.... so they can approve me!
Who makes the parole plan? Is that where they go to visit his requested living address?

Yes who ever and where ever is his Number #1 choice on his parole plan is the parole office that will end up with his plan and they are the ones that will contact his #1 choice and okay it. Once that is done then he gets his certification with a exact release date on it....

I was visited about a month ago by a parole field officer...my husband's release date is 9-11-03 according to TDC. I have not heard anymore and am worried that the State Jail folks will come for him on 9-11-03 and I still won't see him home. Anybody got any clues about what's happening on State Jail in Texas? Everyone I call does not know much. Thanks
