My friend called last night and said that he's hearing rumors that "A" yard at SVSP is going to be changed to a Level 3 SNY, instead of level 4. That "B" yard will still be a Level 3 SNY also. He said that the Level 4s on "A" yard will be moved to either Delano or Folsom.
Sounds like a lot of moving around.
Anyone else hearing anything like this?

Most of the level 4's on A yard have been shipped out, leaving only level 3's. I also know that the majority of those who caused problems have been shipped out. I sure hope this brings some "normal" days to A yard. Over the past three or so years they have been on lockdown the majority of the time.

My friend has reduced his points enough now & will be transferring to a Level 3 yard. His cellie is still a Level 4 & hasn't been moved anywhere. :confused:

I haven't heard anything at all, but my husband is nosey. So if I do, I will post it here.

A yard is predominately level 4's with an L. B yard is level 3. The yard went thru major shuffling about two months ago. Rumor has it that the entire facility will be reshuffled again to provide space for inmates with medical needs especially Hot Meds which are medications that react to over heating of the body and/or direct sunlight. Not too many level 3 inmates are on A these days and it is true that most of the trouble makers have been transferd to New Delano.

On 3/31/06 the local newspaper had a front page story about the remodeling project that would cost millions to accommodate 2500 medical needs patients. The estimated date was 2009. Although this change has been only rumored there have been many transfers and 100's of temp. beds set up in the gym areas of all yards especially on C and A yard.

A FRIEND OF MINE GOT A LETTER FROM HER SON WHO IS ON "A" YARD AND HE SAID: "all level 4's are moving to another prison by July."
ANYONE KNOW WHERE THEY ARE BEING MOVED TO? ARE THEY ALL GOING TO THE SAME PRISON? IT'S VERY STRESSFUL FOR EVERYONE, NOT KNOWING.

A lot of the guys that were transferred to Delano II were not trouble makers. They for the most part were asked if they wanted to be moved. Others were sent because of false alligations by the CO's. Not all were troublemakers. I take offense to that statment. Though we are still at SVSP.
Try and post what you know. We have enough speculation from the CO's. Let's not help them out.
