Does anyone know if Arkansas does a Spring Package Program? I visited the American Commissary Supply webpage, and there is a Spring Package Program promo up....but so far Virginia is the only state listed.

Dave really enjoyed his Christmas Package, and I would love to be able to send him a Spring one!!!

I don't know but maybe we can find out somehow. I think it is a great thing for our guys to have a special treat once in a while:) I think I have the number from when I called about the winter package... I don't mind calling them to see.If you have not already done that or want me to.Let me know...kitty :)

I got an email today from ACS, and they are going to have a Spring Package Program for Arkansas!!!!! They will begin accepting orders the first of April. I know that Dave will be happy to get another one of those packages!!!

Last time I checked last week Arkansas was not on the list yet.But check the American Commasary and supply website for an idea of what you can get.You can spend up to $75 I think. Kitty

I called the number on the website and they are still planning on offering a package sometime before May.

They are now taking orders, people!!!!! No Hershey's kisses which is what my baby was looking forward to!!!:( They will taking orders through May 31rst. You can go to their website ....acs-us.com.....and see all the requirements and such.

They emailed me today and are taking orders April 24th thru May 30th and will be shipping out to units on or around June 30th. Kitty

My son was telling me about it last week and that he wasx going to send the form,but they have told him he will get out sometime in June.His release date is 8/18/06.I dont know if I should order him one or not.

Just a reminder you have till May 31st to order,12 more days.Guess, you really need to send sooner if you are mailing it to make sure it gets there.Kitty

Yes, Arkansas does let the inmates have spring or should I say summer packages. I do believe the last day to order is June 1.

dang a day late a several dollars short

I emailed today and ask when the packages would be delivered and they said they will be in the units on the 30th of this month, but the facility decides when it will be passed out. :) kitty

Does anyone know if the spring packages are being delivered yet? I know it's not the 30th yet, but I live a few miles from where the packages are shipped and they had told me the pkgs would be delivered within the last ten days of the month. I was just wondering if anyone had gotten theirs.

I heard they will Be In The Units this Friday but up to each unit as to when they will give to the guys.I talked to my guy at Tucker last night and they had not gotten theirs yet. Kitty

I talked to my brother at Cummins last night and he had just gotten his package!!

Great, my brother is at Cummins also. He called mother's yesterday afternoon, but didn't say whether he got it. But he also is on night crew on the farm, 5pm-5am. So hopefully he will call today and let us know he received his. Thanks for letting us know, MikesBigSis!!!:)

I didn't tell my baby about it so when he got it on the 28th he called me right away. He was sleeping & they were yellin at him to wake up to get his package & he was getting all irritated because he kept saying he didn't order no package. So then when he got it he saw my name & he called me right away. He was so apprecitive of if. It was so cute. He just kept saying Awww Baby! He likes how I"m able to surprise him with things like that although he doesn't like how I keep secrets. I said good secrets are meant to be hidden just to hear your excitement in your voice.
