George 07-03-2003, 02:12 PM Finally! i get to see her after almost six weeks. she sent a copy of the rules i have to follow:
i have to wear my underwear
i can't wear white
i can't expose my cleavage(damn!)
and i can't wear my mini-skirt or my halter top
and i can't wear my tight leather pants!!
their rules are a f****** joke.but i know i need to follow them in order to see her.:D :D

Lysbeth 07-03-2003, 06:55 PM Phil, you can't wear white to any Alabama prison because the prison garb is all white... which is fine with moi, I generally dislike wearing white anyways! :)
George, hope you have a wonderful visit, I know you will! PS Be careful about wearing beige/tan pants too... they've sent Brian's mom back a few times for wearing khakis. I know the rules are soooooo stupid - even if I was dressed in all white, it'd be pretty difficult to mistake me for a man!!! Anyway, have a wonderful time visiting!! :)

George 07-08-2003, 06:19 PM everything went well sunday. we spent 5 hrs. together, visiting hours are from 7 till 1. they patted me down and made sure i was wearing my underwear! they made me take my shoes off. i had to keep my money in a clear plastic bag( $20 in change) they kept my keys and my driver's license. we had a good visit. we got to hold hands. she had to ask for permission to do it. they said that was fine as long as she didn't touch my face and arms.i GOT SOME SUGAR!!!!!!!!!! if you ain't livin' in the south,"sugar" is kisses! LOL.
but all and all it was a great visit!!!!!!!!1

Y'know, even with all we go thru down here, after reading thousands of other visitation stories on PTO over the last many months I've decided we ain't got it all that bad in Alabama. So glad you had a good visit & got some sugar and hope you have many many more (and lots more sugar)! :)

Care9 08-29-2003, 07:08 AM At first I wondered about the wearing of white also -- thought the same thing Lysbeth did: I'm sure they aren't going to mistake me for one of the prisoners. And when I found out I couldn't wear white on our wedding day, that was even MORE confusing. I mean, let's face it ~~ what was I going to do, switch clothes with him so he could escape in the dress and I would stay in his uniform and go back to the dorm? LOL My daughter was upset (she was 10 back then) and said "Well maybe you could just wear a fance white dress and have a big sign on your back that says 'I'm not a prisoner; I'm just here for the day to get married." LOL LOL Pretty creative solution huh. Anyhow, as for the wearing of white (or any other color in a prison where THAT is the color of the uniforms, I was told it is so that if anything goes down while there are visitors, it would be quickly evident by sight the difference. THAT actually made sense, wow ~~ a rule that makes sense! Wowowowowowowow, miracles still happen. :-)
