After all we've been told (lied to), including that my fiance' would have a recission hearing to take away his presumptive date that was granted LAST November, he called last night and said he's being transferred this week - he doesn't know where. But since he's a minimum classification he's been told he can't stay in a medium facility. Now we'll probably miss the March parole board wherever he goes. Does anybody know what camps are in the Clinton hub? That's where he thinks he'll be headed. Further drive for me. It seems like the system wants to make it hard on the families. Will I have to do anything with MCI to receive his calls from a different facility? I can't believe they're moving him without even having this hearing, must be they already know they are going to take his date away. Sorry for venting!

Actually that's a good sign. They do the parole board by video. The fact that they are moving him to a camp from a med is a sign that the state thinks he is not a risk. I have never heard of anyone being denied parole from a minimum. Only time will tell.

I know - but they lied again!! He went to Adirondack - another MEDIUM! The reason for the move? We've been told off the record it is to delay the parole hearing.

We've been told that since his 1/06 date was a presumptive release on merit only (he never personally appeared before the board) that they could take it away for his violation of work release. They also said Adirondack is where all violators go. We now wait for his initial board appearance in May with fingers & toes crossed.
