I have some questions about PVSP...Scott was transferred to PVSP on Feb 15th and I haven't heard a word from him since he was transferred. I know he was out of envelopes when he sent his last letter but a couple weeks before that I sent him 15 envelopes to his old prison. How long should it take them to transfer his mail from his old prison to PVSP??? He said they were putting him in the dorms in E yard. Is that a good yard, should I worry about him there. He was only put in for violating parole (driving) so nothing violent and his main crime was DUI so would that have any barring as to where they put him? How much time will he get to spend out of his cell??? I just hope he's ok. I miss him:(
Thanks

He is a level 1, yes? I don't think we have any loved one with someone on that yard here, but I do see that yard when I am visiting D yard. It should take a couple weeks for his mail to be transferred. He will contact you as soon as possible, but for now you should call the prison and ask to confirm he is there here is the address that you need to send mail to when you find out what yard he is on:

PO Box 8504
Coalinga, CA 93210

Don't worry. Don't stress. He will call you and write you the first chance he gets.

do u happen to know the phone number to PVSP so that I can call and find out if he's there? I know he's there because he sent a letter to his ex to make sure his son was doing ok and she said he was in PVSP when he sent it. And when I send him a money order, how EXACTLY should it look on the envelope so I don't mess it up and what is the address to send the money order??? thanks, and how can there be no one on E yard! lol

Hi,

just to add a little something...p.o. box 8504 is the number for D yard, every yard has a different number, you should call the prison to make sure what yard you send his mail to.
