Ladies, I propose that when a call comes from the bad phone, you note the time and date of the call, and complain directly to MCI about it...everytime. It may be useless, but it might inspire them to go fix the damned thing.

We also might be able to start a petition and send it to them since we are paying for this crappy service.

Repeated complaints and refund demands from individual customers might be easier to accomplish because there are really terribly few people getting calls from that yard...at least that we have access to to get them on-board with a petition.... Every complaint after the first should include information about previous complaints and offers to take the matter up with the FCC and the Federal Trade Commission... by the time this one phone has caused MCI to have to refund a grand (Which won't take long) they'll decide it's more cost effective to fix the damn thing.

Good idea, LeBeau, thanx.

Do you have any idea what number we would call to MCI? I think this is a good idea. I would like to make a formal complaint and request refund/credit for bad calls.

Here is the number for Correctional Services (1-800-231-0193). And to find out about blocked calls dial: (1-888-414-0898).

I got a call last night from my son, he is on sierra yard, I could hardly hear him and I kept having to have him repeat himself. Is this the phone that you are talking about?

Even if that was a different phone, call MCI and complain about the poor quality of the connection, ask them to put it on their repair schedule...if everyone who recieves a low quality call or gets disconnected one minute into the call starts letting MCI know there is a problem, they will have to address it sooner or later...especially if, when they try to blow it off, the complaints start going to supervisors at MCI and then to the FCC and the FTC.
