does anyone know what happend on the C yard??? Ray Ray?? where are you??

I dont know what happened, but I called today and spoke with somone who said C yard would remain on lockdown for a few more days.

An officer told me it was because of an assult & riot.

I heard the same thing.....does that mean they are going to be back up soon???

I got a call from my honey last night and he said they should be off next week...Lets keep our fingers crossed

I hear C yard will be on lockdown for anoher month and a half. Does anyone know if thats true?

On April 24, approximately fifty (50) Hispanic inmates attacked and battered staff during the evening meal at Ironwood State Prison. As a result of this incident, two correctional officers were transported to Palo Verde Hospital for treatment. An inmate-made stabbing type weapon was discovered in the exercise area directly in front of the Facility C culinary where the attack occurred. Additionally, two puncture wounds were discovered on one of the officers that was attacked, one on his upper right arm, the other on his back right shoulder. There were also two punctures discovered in the officer's uniform jumpsuit that corresponded to the location of the puncture wounds on his body. Three suspects have been identified as participating in the stabbing assault on the officer and will be charged with attempted murder. An investigation is on-going to identify any other suspects or witnesses to the assault. The injured officer is doing well and Facility C is on lockdown. The Riverside County DA is involved in the investigation.
