I just wanted to say hello to all the new Oklahoma members.
I am in OKC and visit McAlester pretty much every weekend to see my fiancee Terry! He signs this coming week to go to a Community center and we are hoping and praying we can get him to one here in the city!! I have made friends with one of the ladies that will be deciding if he gets to drop his level and go( no problem there he has been being good LOL) and since his case manager has been giving us the run around about putting a recommendation on where he wants to go I contacted her and she is flagging his packet and going to do it herself for me and since she makes the decisions on the levels it will have more strength behind it anyway. Any of you whose loved ones are getting transferred dont let the case manager say they cant request a certain place they can I have talked to many people in DOC about this they may not absolutely get the place they request but they do have the right to ask and have it noted. And the transfer people will TRY to get them where they request if possible!!
Can you tell these people have irked me one to many times I no longer take what the first one tells me as true I call and call and call till I find out for sure I am getting the same and true answer from several people. I think I am more familiar with their website than they are and boy do they hate it when I start reading them word for word what THEIR site and rules and stuff say LOL.
Sorry guess I am just in a good mood found out today my fasmily is going to keep the kids Friday and Saturday so I can get a mini vacation and go spend the holiday with my hunny kid free!!! What a novelty!!!!! And I am looking forward to it ALOT!!!
But I'll shut up now and not make this a longer post than it is!!!
