I received a return love card yesterday dated 01/18/2006. A month later! The envelope read contraband and inside the love card they place a blue flyer with inmate mail policies. They highlighted lipstick/excessive. I could not believe what I was reading. Has this happen to anyone else. I did not think lipstick was dangerous. The envelope had about five kisses on the outside and the card had two. This is not the first time that I send mail to him full kisses. Anyone else with nonsense mail return. Thanks just needed to vent!!:p

Can you print a copy of the INMATE MAIL POLICY here. With the way that the mail is running, I am Sure everyone would appriciate it so our letters dont get sent back. Thank you so much.

Unbeleiveable! CCC Sucks! I'm telling you, those hicks do whatever the hell they want! They were supposed to transfer my husband down south, then all of a sudden they gave him 12 more points for no f****n reason and told him now he has too many points and he can't get transferred! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr...It's like they do this shyt on purpose to destroy families....I also have had mail returned for retarted reasons..They do everything screwed up there! Sometimes they dont even send out the guys mail, i get 5 letters all at once sometimes because they aren't doing thier job, he writes me every day! All i know is I cant wait for him to get outta there!!!! HE'S TOO FAR!!!!!!!!

Hi Alex use to write to me every day but since he got to CCC I am lucky if I get one letter per week. He write once a week and the letter takes about two weeks to reach my mailbox. I used to get mad at him but now I just get happy when ever I get his mail. I do not know why he writes less and he calls once a week. So far I hate the fact that in a few months he change so much. From calling me two or three times a week to just one is sad. I am sure that he has his reasons but there are days where I just need to hear his voice. Ladies I am sure you know what I mean. I have mention that I feel as if he wants to stay away from me and I do not know why. He tells me that everything is different and calls at night are so difficult since everyone wants calls at the same time. He is in Cascade Yard at CCC. I write to him everyday or every other day depending on how I feel that day about him.

Malogrrl, Maybe he is working. My son wrote and called everyone less after he started to work. First he was in the kitchen and then he was in the visiting area on the night shift. He would get off work in the morning and sleep a big portion of the day. A lot of times he would miss his call time because he was working or sleeping. He was also on Cascade. I dont know, just some ideas as to why.

Malo....Don't get all worked up mama...I'm sure if he could he would call you more..I know if my husband could call me everyday he would, but there they have to sign up for phone calls and some times they get scratched off the list...My husband can only call 1-2 times a week too...Sometimes the mail is slow going out of there...But i get a letter almost every day...

Yes my husband is at CCC...He was in the Gym and now hes somewhere else, Im gonna have to ask him the next time he calls...DO you go visit your man up there...I went once, I drove..It took me 10 hours from Orange County..It was totally worth it though..Just to get to sit next to him and i got to kiss him.. :-) I cant go see him for a while though because I just got a new job and if you want to drive up there you have to take a whole day just to drive you know..It really sucks they sent him so far..They were supposed to send him to Chino!...Yeah right! They never send you anywhere you want to go....

I have not been able to go to visit. I am planning to go next month. Bumper it took you ten hours to drive up there. Not bad at all.

Hahahahaha...I have to join the club now...HDSP returned a letter to me with a tiny slip of paper marked "Odors/Stains"....4 lipstick kisses:rolleyes:

Lipstick is not allowed at any prison I know of due to what I was told by the mail room at Avenal, it's because drugs can be ground up to powder form when the lipstick is scratched it can be received by the inmate. Well call me stupid or whatever you want but I for one am not taking the time to grind anything up not even pepper for food!!! I guess there is someone out there ready to do anything to ruin something else for the rest of us. :blah:

Wow, I guess it depends on who opens the letters. I've sent many letters to HDSP with lipstick kisses on the inside and he has received them everytime. :shrug:
