Sorry to say that North facility is still on lockdown with NO VISITS. No visits for any yard or race at all. Please call before you decide to come up to see if any changes.

You can call the prison directly at 831-678-3951 Ext 4012, try to call before 6:00pm, someone will still be there to answer the phones. Oh, try not to call during shift change around the 1:30-2:00pm hour, it will ring forever.

Central and South Facility is on normal visiting.

TGW, thank you so much for the update. I'm always so grateful for every little bit of information. I spoke to someone at CTF yesterday and was told the same thing - the whole facility is locked down, and that there had been 4 inmates injured. I am assuming the inmates were from North B because I think that's where the riot had been Tuesday last week.

I read somewhere the whites and hispanics teamed up against the blacks so maybe thats why there all on lockdown, but they will probably be on lockdown for a lond time since someone was killed.
I recieved a letter from my brother who said he was at work when the incident happend and he didn't even know what happend. I assume he now knows someone was killed but he said that he thought they would be lockedown for a while.

I hate to hear that any one was killed, but in my years of visiting, I have learned that the lock downs last a lot longer if the victim was staff rather then inmate. So for all of you going to CTF, I really hope that this one isn't all that long.
