I met my ex husband in Riker's Island. We were both on a chat line at the same time and we connected. I think the thing that made me mostly attracted to him was the fact that he was honest about where he was and the fact that he had children. Everything about him was perfect. It was fun. I loved seeing him. Although the first visit I had with him a fight broke out behind me, I got so nervous but he held me and he said with like the biggest eyes in the world, "You are coming back after this right?" I smiled and said yes. Jesus, I loved him. The only reason why we separated was because his baby-momz didn't like me therefore she didn't let him see his son. I told him that he had to let me of else he would never be able to see his son again.

It must have been very difficult to let go of him. I applaud you for giving him the opportunity to see his son. Although it is bittersweet. Perhaps in the future the journey will take another path and you will resume your relationship.
All of my best to you.

I agree with babygirl. If it was meant to be it shall be. You are a comendable person. Very few would step out of the way for a man to be a father. Wow. It shouldn't have had to be that way...
All the best,
Patty
