We have two friends in Greenville, Illinois who will be released at the same time to go to a halfway house. We told them we would love to pick them up and take them there. Our friends are saying they cannot both ride with us because they cannot ride in the same vehicle together....yet they will let them ride on a bus together. The prison will let one of them ride with us but not both together. Does this make sense? They would be riding together on the bus. Does anyone know if this is correct?????

That is BOP policy. As convicted felons they cannot have contact with each other unless it is unavoidable for the full period of supervised release
