That's right- 10 days! I cannot wait to have him home with me- just to talk to him and look at him is going to be the greatest thing in the world. He's only been in jail for 7 months, which I know is nothing compared to the time some of you ladies have been waiting, but it's still hard to be away from the one you love. Thanks PTO! You all have made this a lot easier for me...

Thanks everyone! It's midnight here so 8 days! Haha. I have work and/or school every day between now and the 25th so hopefully these last few days will go by quickly! I'm just not looking foward to the 10 hour drive to get there :( But it'll probably be less than that because I'll be speeding the whole way there!

Well, it's 11:55PM here, so basically 4 DAYS!! :D :D
I called the jail today and found out he's going to be released at 5AM!! Holy crap. I live about 10 hours away, but I'm going to leave 12 hours before, just to be safe. I would just leave Friday morning and get a hotel, but I have class at 10 and 1 that day, all I'll probably already be skipping Monday classes to spend time with him so... Yeah, I'll have school Friday afternoon, THEN I'm leaving at 5PM to drive across 2 states in the middle of the night, which is going to suck, but it'll be worth it!!!

Drive safe and stop and rest whenever you need to. I have found when driving long distances that if I eat fresh veggies or fruit that I remain much more alert than if I eat at some fast food restaurant. Take care. Looking forward to hearing of your safe return home.

I never thought of that, usually I just drink lots of soda on long car trips, but fruit makes more sense (lots of soda = bathroom breaks every 10 miles ;/). I'm going to go out and buy lots of apples and other fruits before I leave Friday. Thanks!

Well, we just got back to Missouri yesterday... made it back alive :D. We've been together 4 days and things are going great so far! Just wanted to thank everyone again, it's nice to have so much support from people who don't even know you. It's really helped me through all of this.

He's handling it really well. It's hard to just up and leave your friends and family and move to another state, but he's doing really good. He went grocery shopping and completely cleaned my car inside and out while I was gone yesterday. Then he picked me up from work and we sat in bed eating pizza and watching Napoleon Dynamite all night :D I feel so bad because he's completely spoiling me, but he wont let me spoil him! But yes, we're both in heaven!

It sounds soooo incredible..........sigh.........that's me being jealous. :p YOu let him spoil you all he wants! My husband tells me all the time he is going to spoil me when he is home. I have NO problem with that. I need some of the stress taken off. He has all these great plans for us as a family which makes me even more excited for his return.
