Scott is in wasco state prison in california. He was sent back to prison after violating parole that was on october 10th. in november he found out that he didnt beat his parole hold so he was getting 9 months in prison no flat time no time served no nothing. but yet he says he's getting out july 8th or a couple days sooner. does this mean he will have to be on parole when he gets out or will he not be? i'm confused!!!!

It depends on how much parole timehe had left when he went back in. He will do all the time he was given, this time inside will count towards the total. If he is almost done, he may "max out", meaning that he will be in custody until the very last day of his parole and will be released with no parole left to serve.
Also, I don't think they can not credit him with time already served. My husbands "wait time" has always been included in his violation sentance. Sounds like he got half time, though. Unless he's already been in custody for several months.
