Our first Valentine's Day together he surprised me with the help of his mother by sending flowers to my office. Our second one together he was detained on the way to my house by the Police overnight for something he had nothing to do with so we celebrated on the 15th. Now this our third Valentine's Day together and he was just recently transferred to the prison where he will max out so I"m not even sure if he will be able to get a letter out or if he will be able to call but I'm okay with that because I know where his heart is and who he will be thinking of on that special day as always. I was proactive, the minute I learned where he was going I FedEx'd a bunch of stuff to him, hopefully the mailroom will pass it through on time.

AWWWE Flowers at the office :D That is so sweet. I guess I'm supposed to get some package in the mail soon :) This is our 7th Together. I can't even remeber the first. I sent out 3 cards. Hopefully he'll get them all in time. I should be receiving a call Tuesday as well :D :D

Well last year he sent me a card, this year he sent me 11 cards, all to be opened on the 14th. I sent him four cards and some pictures, also a poem. I have always hated Valentine's Day, before he it reminded me how alone I felt like I was. Now I get kind of upset seeing other couples celebrating together because I wish that was us.

I know in we're together in our hearts, I hope that once I move out there I can go visit him on a Valentine's Day. Now I just know how lucky and loved I am, I cherish it as another holiday that we get to celebrate 'together', even though we're physically apart.

Patty, I hope he gets the things that you sent him on time. I know when I sent my fiancé something overnight they kept it for a week before it got to him!

Whiskey~ if they keep it a week he would get it just in time which would be great if not well it's the thought that counts. I am secretly wishing he'd be able to call by then but I don't want to get my hopes up. We'll have other days and everyone is special to me.

Patty, I"m with you, every day is special. I hope he does get it in time, if he doesn't, no big deal :) Your right, it is the thought that counts, especially in realtionships like ours.

This is our first Valentine's. He gave me two cards and I gave him 7. We don't get phone calls so I assume this is how we are celebrating it. Hopefully next year he will be out and we will celebrated it together.

Also the 16th is my b-day so he is probably making me a card and we getting married the 18th (yes this Saturday). So I guess it's one week of celebration?

Both Tony and I make cards for each other but, because of mail problems in Illinois, I sent his off on 3rd January. He got them and has promised not to open them until tomorrow. Not me, his arrived and have been sitting out looking at me ever since.

Well this is my first Valentines with my guy and I am lucky enough that it actually falls on a visiting day for me. I will be getting a big hug and a kiss for Valentines. He tells me I have something else coming but I have no idea what it is. He always keeps me guessing and surprises me. I just love it! I have gotten several cards as well, some bought some homemade. They are all beautiful. I hope everyone has a great Valentines Day.

I got flowers this year for Valentine's Day...well kind of. The card Nuro sent me was so cute when you opened the card the flowers popped up. It was pretty special. The best part is that they won't wilt!;)

I usually send lots of cards. One year I found Harley Davidson V-Day cards in the kids valentines section. I send him a couple of those every year too!

For the most part, we really don't do anything special, b/c according to him, everyday is Valentine's day. Now, I don't think you would get the same response on a day that I've pissed him off.

Also, going out on that date can be hectic due to long lines and or wait.

Over the weekend, he presented me w/ several gifts. Pamper basket and a rose w/ candy attached to it. Need less to say, I'm more focused on the candy. :-)

I am planning to get him some tools for work.

This will be the sixth Valentines Day together that we will celebrate. In the past I have gotten cards, flowers, poems, small gifts that he has made.

This year (tomorrow), will be different as he is in the hole unfortunately. So all we could share is cards and our love for each other.

I sent him a huge card this year, as always, and I've gotten poems, cards, phone calls in the past. We will talk on the phone tomorrow night and I expect something in the mail. His birthday was on the 7th so I got him a subscription to his home town newspaper.
