OMG...I thought posting in this forum was never going to happen!
My man is coming home in 40 days! WOW, I think it's just hitting me as I type!
I don't even know how to feel, my honey and I started "US" while he was on the inside. We have been bestfriends for 5 years and have known eachother for 10! Now a couple for 8 months! I can't believe that soon enough I will be able to see him and kiss him! I never got out to see him, couldn't afford it!
OMG...My man is coming home in 40 days....YIKES!
Anyone have any good advice about all these nerves I have? The goosebumps and the butterflies?

Oh congratulations! I don't know about the advice cause I got them to! The only thing I can say is start getting prepared because it will be here before you know it!

Congratulations to both of you....actually all 4 of you!!! No advice here since it will be so long before my honey comes home. Just continue smiling!!!!

Just continue to be you and always keep busy so that the time can go faster and when he comes home keep lines of comunication OPEN... just my advice!! best wishes to you and congrats.

Wowee, this is just wonderful. Only 40 days, you can handle that.

I think it is fantastic that we have so many countdowns. Wonderful just wonderful seeing so many getting to come home.

Congratulations, I hope the time just flies right on by.... Now please remember to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS and be kind to yourself as the days ahead tend to be emotionally and physically exhausting, trust me I was sick the day my man came home so now I make it my personal business to hound the rest of y'all to be careful with yourselves. Thank you everyone for your words! I am so excited. Yes...I can handle this! I just talked to my man a few minutes ago..I asked him does the number 40 mean anything to you....he has no clue..is trying not to count down! I don't blame him, the time will stand still for him if he does!

LOL...my man HATES when I start telling him how many days he has left! He says it makes time go SOO much slower for him. I can't believe it, I thought the time would start standing still once we got this far, the days are just flying by! I really hope our life together doesn't fly by like this.
I just ordered a book from Amazon called "How to love and inspire your man after prison" I am hoping to get lots of useful info on it!
Gosh I'm so nervous about his homecoming, only because I won't be there when he gets out and will be a few weeks before I do get to see him, but I plan on spending a lot more time on the phone, no one's gonna tell us when we need to get off!

36 days....I really need to wake up, i really thought this time would go by slow, boy was I wrong. I talked to my honey today, he told me with a long sigh, "I'm getting nervous!" I'm sure this is going to be quite the transition for him, for both of us actually!
Is anyone's man getting nervous like this?

I am trying to prepare myself for my move also, with him in cali and me in mass I have to make the move. I've been trying to get everything together on this end! What a chore! But it keeps me busy and the days off my mind!

That's a big move for you guys! I am moving to Cali, he has to parole in Cali for a minimum of 13 months and a maximum of 3 years! We will be back in New England as soon as the parole is over...probably New Hampshire!
Good luck on getting things settled and moving! And thanks for the loads of support you have given me!
